Category: Checkout · Tier: Starter tier (and Pro, Agency) · Marketing page →

What it does

Inline login/register block on the checkout page — returning customers sign in without leaving the flow, new customers can create an account with one click.

Why it matters

Bouncing customers off to /my-account/ to sign in is a measurable abandonment cause. Asteris keeps the auth flow on the same page.

Where to find it

In WordPress admin: ★ Asteris Cart → Modules → Login. The module is enabled by default on every fresh install of a Starter-or-higher licence — disable from the same page if you don”t want it.

Per-module settings live under that same page once enabled. Global module on/off lives at ★ Asteris Cart → Modules (the master switch grid).

Settings reference

Position (top of checkout / above billing / collapsible block), show “guest checkout” link prominently, force account creation (off by default — guest checkout always preferred), social sign-in providers if any plugin exposes them.

Tips

Force-account-creation kills conversion. Keep guest checkout obvious unless you have a clear reason customers MUST have an account (subscriptions, downloads).
